His second putt, back up the hill, to force an 18-hole playoff with Spieth, drifted past the left edge of the hole: Handing the on-looking Spieth the Open and the $1.8Million winnings to accompany it.“I’m in shock,” Spieth said, who now goes to St. Andrews next month in his pursuit of golf’s holy grail — the calendar Grand Slam.Dustin Takes home a tidy $877,144 for his efforts but this is a hole he will not soon forget.

CHAMBERS BAY?…MORE LIKE CHAMBERS BASEMENT!

Host to this week’s U.S. Open, you can find this bad-boy in the heart of the 18th fairway of Chambers Bay Golf Club in Washington.Looking more like a bomb crater then a bunker, it measures 17 FEET DEEP and 15 FEET LONG.Oh…and did we mention…..it’s invisible to all players from the Tee box. CruelThis 18th hole will ALTERNATE through each day of the Open as a par-4 and two days as a par-5 however this bunker will only come into play on the latter. It is suspected that Sunday’s final rnd will setup as a par-5 but, with length on Tour, only 5-6 players should find themselves within reach of this potentially devastating position.
