In the first week of October, 2015 Travis, Dir of LuxGolf Australia, made the loooong trek from Sydney, Aus to Pinehurst, North Carolina to chase the dream of playing on a Bucket-List course, iconic, Pinehurst #2.

“Playing Pinehurst #2 has always been a dream of mine growing up watching countless US.Open’s being played on its famed fairways. The history and atmosphere that the course holds was legendary and it didn’t disappoint! Of course I did what any golf tragic would do on the long flight over to the U.S….Place the 1999 US.Open tourney on my iPad and watch Payne Stewart hoist the trophy into the air. Standing by his iconic memorial statue sent a shiver down my spine paying homage to this gentelman, champion and legend.  This will go down as one of my most unforgettable golfing memories!
